In Support of Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids
First Street Market is coming together to help feed Calgary’s kids — one feature item at a time.
From June 5th – 30th, every vendor at First Street Market, including the FSM Bar, will feature a special menu item that helps provide lunches to local children in need.
Why it matters.
Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids provides nutritious lunches directly to schools across the city, working to ensure no child goes hungry.
How it works.
For every feature item purchased, $4 will be donated to BB4CK: $2 contributed by the vendor, $2 matched by First Street Market.
The impact.
Nearly 8,000 kids served daily, 280+ Calgary schools supported, 800 volunteers, and every lunch costs only $4.
